Aerosmith is set to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on February 14, according to an announcement by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Wednesday.
The iconic American rock band is being recognized for its accomplishments in music with the Walk of Fame's 2,657th star.
The ceremony itself is set to take place at 11:30 a.m. Pacific time on Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Musicians' Institute.
"Finally!" said Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez. "We have been waiting a long time to honor Aerosmith with their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Aerosmith is one of the greatest rock bands in the world and we expect many fans will be 'Crazy' excited to see them honored!"
Aerosmith is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with its 19-show Deuces Are Wild residency in Las Vegas, which kicks off April 6 at the Park Theater at the new Park MGM resort.
The band is a winner of four Grammy Awards, among many other honors.
Aerosmith was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
