Contrary to an earlier story, originally reported by KOTA in Rapid City, South Dakota, Lynyrd Skynyrd singer Johnny Van Zant did NOT suffer a heart attack.

We contacted the band's management, who told us that what happened was that guitarist Garry Rossington, the last surviving original member of the band, had an arterial blockage that was corrected by the insertion of stents on Friday. He has been ordered to rest, leading the band to cancel shows through Thursday.

The next Skynyrd performance is set for Friday in Virginia Beach.

Guns n' Roses are the latest act to open a pop-up shop.

The store, called Guns n' Roses Was Here, will be open Friday through August 18th at Maxfieldin Los Angeles, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Appetite for Destruction. It will sell clothing inspired by the album and its cover design from such fashion houses as Off-White, Palm Angels, Amiri, Kelly Cole and MadeWorn.

Guns n' Roses' North American tour continues Tuesday in Miami.

Johnny Galecki is in talks to join the revival of Roseanne. Original stars Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman and Alicia Goranson have already signed on for the new series.

This Is Us has lost its Emmy nominations  for “outstanding contemporary costumes.” The Television Academy deemed the submitted episode, “Moonshadow,” as ineligible after determining that most of it took place in flashbacks to the '70s. (Variety)
