Hilarious "Punk" CD TV Spot From Late 80s/Early 90s

Back when TV still mattered when it came to influencing your musical tastes comes the TV campaign for "Punk!" a two disc CD package containing all your favorite punk songs. It was pitched by some dude wearing a 80's Sunset Strip hairband wig, and his vaccuous girlfriend that could only exclaim "Yeah!" to everything he said.

If you called the number on the screen and ordered your copy of PUNK! you received a two CD or cassette set of punk classics! That is if you consider "Harden My Heart" by Quarterflash, "Jeopardy" by Greg Kihn Band, "I Want A New Drug" by Huey Lewis & The News, "Don't Dream It's Over" by Crowded House, and "Mickey" by Toni Basil to be punk. But if you did, it was yours for only $26.95 for the CDs, or $21.95 for the cassettes! Way to stick it to the man!

Don't you wish you could go back in time and order this CD man?

Yeah!  Uh, I mean NO!
