Robot Solves Rubik's Cube in 0.38 Seconds

According to CNET, a new robot has just broken the Guinness World Record for solving a Rubik's Cube, knocking it out in 0.38 seconds.

The old record was 0.637 seconds, but an MIT robotics student and a software developer nearly cut that time in half.

Just to compare, the human Guinness World Record time for solving a Rubik's Cube is 4.69 seconds.

Take a look at the video above. It shows the solution in real time and then super slow motion. And the real kicker? The robot was drunk! (I made that last part up)

Yes. For sure. Robots are taking over the world.

The Rubik's Cube was invented in 1974. I got my hands on one in '75. I haven't solved it yet.
