I don't know who Nate Fernald is, but Nate is my new hero. And I think he's a genius. Here's why...
If you've ever met me in person, you know I am one of the millions that suffer from lack of tallness. Most of the time it doesn't bother me. But when it does become a problem, it becomes a BIG problem. For instance, I love Arizona Ice Tea's Arnold Palmer Zero. Most super markets stock the cans of these teas on the top shelf. So when there are only a couple of cans left, they're inevitably at the back of the shelf, way out of my reach.
And when I go to a concert, I know that unless I'm lucky enough to watch the show from the wings, I am going to miss seeing most of the concert because of the tall people standing in front of me. This is what happened when my daughter (also short) and I went to the U2 Joshua Tree anniversary concert in Santa Clara last year.
So Nate Fernald, I salute you and your idea. And yes, I think it should be a law as well. Huzzah Nate. Huzzah!
