Oh that Dave Grohl! Ya never know what he's got up his sleeve! Foo Fighters promoted their upcoming Cal Jam '18 festival with a surprise show Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

The show was billed as a performance by Chevy Metal, the cover band fronted by Foos drummer Taylor Hawkins and a band whose name isn't suitable for broadcast, but we'll call them The Holy Craps, who turned out to be the Foos.
During the band's 10-song set, the Foos wheeled out a number of rarities, including "Gimme Stitches," which they haven't played since 2008; "Weenie Beenie" and "New Way Home," which they haven't done since 2014; and "Low" and "Alone + Easy Target," which they last played live in 2015.
