Foos Postpone Canada Dates Over Dave's Voice

Due to vocal issues that plagued Dave Grohl during Saturday's tour-opening show in Seattle, Foo Fighters have rescheduled two shows on the Canadian Concrete and Gold tour leg.

September 4th's show at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta has been moved to October 22nd and September 6th in at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta will now take place October 23rd.

Grohl suffered a loss of voice and is now on vocal rest. Referencing U2's singer, who also lost his voice during a show in Europe on Saturday, Grohl quipped, “That’s the last time I ever make out with Bono.”

Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates and, if necessary, refunds are available at point of purchase until September 25th. Foo Fighters will resume the tour Saturday in Vancouver.

Krist Novoselic joined his former Nirvana bandmate Dave Grohl's Foo Fighters at Safeco Field in Seattle Saturday to cover "Molly's Lips" by The Vaselines, which their former group often performed live. Novoselic's presence surprised no one, since his current band, Giants in the Trees, opened the show.
