Hard to believe, but we're coming up on the 25th anniversary of the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
Nirvana's former co-manager Danny Goldberg has written a book about Cobain. It's called Serving The Servant: Remembering Kurt Cobain. Goldberg worked with the band from 1990 through Cobain's death in 1994. The book not only taps Goldberg's memories, but shares interviews with Kurt's family (including Courtney Love ), friends and former bandmates like Krist Novoselic. Goldberg says he wanted to explore what it is about Cobain that still resonates today, even with a generation that was born after he died.
It's interesting that Courtney Love and Krist Novoselic are mentioned as doing interviews for the book, but not Dave Grohl . There have been some pretty good books about Kurt Cobain, but this one seems like it's going to be a much more intimate look at the rock star.
The 304 page book will be out April 2nd.
