Crue Won't Perform New Songs Live

Just because Motley Crue got together to record some new songs for their upcoming movie The Dirt doesn't mean they're ever going to play them live together in front of an audience.

That's the upshot from a new interview with Nikki Sixx in Rolling Stone, in which the bassist tells them, "Sometimes I look out at my friends, like the guys in Aerosmith and Metallica, and I’m like, ‘God damn it, did we retire too soon?' But there will be no one-offs in our future. Maybe we’ll just get together and jam in Mick Mars’ front room.”

Motley Crue cover "Like a Virgin" by Madonna onThe Dirt soundtrack. It's one of four new songs on the album, which is due out March 22nd, the day the film debuts on Netflix. The other new tracks are "Ride With the Devil," "Crash and Burn" and the first single, "The Dirt (Est. 1981)," which features rapper Machine Gun Kelly. Kelly plays Tommy Lee in the film.
