Neil Young Is A Randy Bachman Fan

Neil Young recalls fellow Canadian Randy Bachman as having the best teenaged band while they were growing up in Winnipeg.

In a clip from the documentary Bachman, the future Buffalo Springfield and CSNY legend calls Randy his "guitar playing hero." Long before The Guess Who and BTO, he says, The Silvertones "were the biggest band in town... and there was a good reason for it. Everyone else was doing what they did."

Bachman, which also features commentary by Buffy Sainte-Marie, Paul Shaffer, Peter Frampton and Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson, will be released on DVD, iTunes, Amazon Prime Video and Google Play March 26th.
