It's always kind of bothered me that musicians and singers have been referred to as "artists".

OK maybe "recording" artists I'm fine with but to me, an ex-Fine Arts major in college, "real" artists are painters or sculptors like Picasso or Rodin.

But now, Love Gun guitarist Paul Stanley of KISS fame can truly be referred to as an artist because Paul actually creates paintings for big bucks.

Apparently, in between KISS concerts, Paul has a some spare time on his hands to pursue his love of art.

So much so that the respected Wentworth Gallery showcases his exhibitions and offers his paintings for sale for as much as $75,000!

Not bad for a side gig.

But hey Paul, don't quit your day job...yet.
