IHeartMedia Bakersfield in together with the American Red Cross will be collecting donations for the victime of HURRICANE HARVEY which left a path of devastation and flooding. Houston and the surrounding areas in Texas need our help. Stop by Thursday (Aug. 31) from 6am-6pm for the HURRICANE HARVEY Donation Drive at our IHeartMedia Studios at 1100 Mohawk street (at Truxtun) to donate to the Red Cross and their HURRICANE HARVEY relief efforts in Texas.

iHeartMedia Bakersfield To Host Donation Drive To Benefit Those AFFECTED BY HURRICANE HARVEY

WHAT:          106.1 KRAB, 98-5 The Fox, La Preciosa 105.3, Fox Sports 970Am AND Comedy 800 together with American Red Cross California will host a fundraiser to assist the south Texas communities that have been recently affected by Hurricane Harvey. Afternoon on-air personality Mike Bell from 98-5 The Fox will broadcast live from the event.  The American Red Cross will be on site to collect monetary donations to benefit the Houston community in need.

In addition, 106.1 KRAB radio will also hold a Request-A-Thon encouraging listeners to pledge a donation to the American Red Cross when they call in to request a song.

Currently, more than 17,000 people have been displaced in Houston due to Hurricane Harvey.
