Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich is updating fans about frontman James Hetfield, who went into rehab last month to deal with his struggle with substance abuse.
"He's doing what he needs to," Ulrich said to USA Today. "He's in the process of healing himself."
Ulrich also added that he's pleased with "how positive the feedback has been from our fans and friends and peers alike" regarding Hetfield. "It's heartwarming."
