Sending prayers to this rock icon. Eddie Money, one of our faves, has been diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. He discusses the news in an upcoming episode of his TV program, "Real Money."
According to TMZ, who posted a clip from the show, he found out about it late last year.
“It hit me really, really hard,” Money says in the clip. “I don’t want to keep the fact that I have cancer from everybody. It’s not honest. I want to be honest with everybody.” He added that cancer treatment had come “a long way” and that “not everybody dies from cancer like they did in the ‘50s and the ‘60s... Am I going to live a long time? Who knows. It’s in God’s hands. But you know what? I’ll take every day I can get. Every day above ground is a good day.”
