One of YouTube's premier mashup artists, Bill McClintock, is at it again with one of his most ambitious cuts yet: "Van Free Riot - 'Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Metal Health Now'."
McClintock's latest upload combines Quiet Riot's "Bang Your Head (Metal Health)," Free's "All Right Now" and Van Halen's "Ain't Talking' 'Bout Love" into a single, pretty convincing '70s hard rock song.
The lion's share of the mashup is the instrumental track of "Bang Your Head" with Paul Rodgers' vocals from "All Right Now." But McClintock deftly adds an Eddie Van Halen guitar fill a little after the 1 minute mark and another classic Randy Rhoads lick (from Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train") at around 2 minutes.
During the "Bang Your Head" guitar solo section, things start getting really interesting with David Lee Roth trading lines with Quiet Riot guitarist Carlos Cavazo. The song comes to a head about a minute later when McClintock combines each chorus into one gigantic finish.
