John Fogerty is getting ready to celebrate a very big birthday, and he's ringing it in with fans during his iHeartRadio ICONS with John Fogerty: A Birthday Celebration special.
During his special event, Fogerty will sit down with iHeartRadio's Jim Kerr for one of his most in-depth and open conversations ever. He will discuss everything from his relationship with his brother and his former bandmates, getting back to playing his old songs in concert, performing now in a band with his sons, becoming a part of the Baseball Hall of Fame and so much more.
The special will also hear music featuring performances from an exclusive concert recorded live last fall for iHeartRadio at Red Rocks in Colorado.
Fans can tune in to iHeartRadio ICONS with John Fogerty: A Birthday Celebration special on Friday, May 23rd at 8pm ET/5pm PT on iHeartRadio's Classic Rock station.
Fogerty is heading out on tour just after his big 80th birthday celebration in New York City on May 28th, and heading to Europe before returning to the US in July and will make stops in cities across the country including Los Angeles, Hammond, Battle Creek, Doswell and Selbyville, before wrapping up in Quincy, Massachusetts on August 3rd.
Recently, Fogerty released a new album that blends fresh material with remastered classics, rekindling the distinctive swamp rock sound that made Creedence Clearwater Revival a household name.
